Golf has a unique relationship with the natural environment and we all have a responsibility to ensure that future generations are able to enjoy the game played by millions around the world.

In 2013 Environmental Golf Solutions was established by Kate Torgersen. Kate's passion for the environment and extensive knowledge of golf courses led to the desire to provide specialised advice and services to the industry.

  • Over the past 10 years I have worked with Kate on numerous golf course construction projects all over Australia. She has shown incredible expertise and knowledge in regards to indigenous plants and her professionalism is second to none. From supplying large orders of indigenous tube stock to giving advice on site preparation or maintenance, Kate is always willing to assist and a pleasure to work with.

  • Environmental Golf Solutions provide the club with diverse, extensive support and advice with regard to our environmental management on the golf course. Working with Kate we have formulated a very specific & detailed Vegetation Management Plan that is our Blue Print for enhancing our biodiversity. Given Kate’s strong reputation in our Industry she has also been a conduit for me to access advice from a vast array of specialists & consultants in the environmental management space.
